Tails of Hope WI is guided by a dedicated board of directors and team leads that develops strategy, sets goals, and oversees the rescue’s activities to ensure we continue to fulfill our mission and vision.

    Amy Baker

    FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

    After being diagnosed with stage four metastatic melanoma in 2019, Amy felt compelled to give back and make a difference in the world. After a few years of fostering for some other rescue groups, she founded Tails of Hope WI, which is dedicated to helping dogs of all shapes and sizes, in any health, including some with major medical issues.

    Amy lives in Alma, Wisconsin with her husband and her two youngest daughters. She also has two grown children, works full time for the State of Wisconsin, and is an EMT/first responder.

  • Jolene Miller

    PROCESSING TEAM LEAD

    Jolene is from Menomonie, WI where she was born and raised and currently live with her husband Al.

    She has always loved dogs and while growing up she even thought about becoming a vet. She currently has 3 dogs. Bailey is a Silver Lab, Jaycee, a rescue from ToH, is a Pitbull and Todd, another rescue from ToH, is a mixed breed. 

    As the Application Processing Team Lead, Jolene is passionate about helping rescue dogs find their perfect forever homes. She is dedicated to ensuring that every application is carefully reviewed so that each dog is matched with a family that best fits their needs. With a deep love for dogs and a commitment to their well-being, Jolene strives to set both pets and adopters up for a successful, happy life together.

  • Brittany Andrews

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

    Brittany, her husband Justin, their cat Nibblet, and their two dogs Grizzly (ToH alumni) and Maggie, all reside in Menomonie, WI. Brittany is actively pursuing her Bachelors in Accounting and is set to graduate 2025.

    As the Operations Director for Tails of Hope, Brittany plays a vital role in keeping the rescue running smoothly. From coordinating transports and placing dogs in loving foster homes to helping with our social media team and handling day-to-day operations, she is involved in every aspect of the rescue. Her passion for dog rescue drives her to ensure that every dog gets the care, support, and second chance they deserve. Brittany’s dedication helps make it possible for Tails of Hope to save lives and connect dogs with their forever families.

  • Brittany Behiling

    MEDICAL DIRECTOR

    Brittany oversees all the medical records and ensures each dog receives the appropriate vaccines and preventatives.

    Brittany lives in Menomonie, WI, with her fiance, Mike, and their two children, Madison and Brayden. Together, they have four dogs: Axel, Bailey ( ToH alumni), Juno (ToH alumni), and Foster (ToH alumni). Brittany works full-time as an Office Administrator for a local construction company.

    Brittany has always had a love for animals. They have a small hobby farm with chickens, goats, and pigs. She dreams of one day opening up an animal sanctuary.

  • Tori Follett

    SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM LEAD

    Tori oversees our amazing team of social media volunteers and also helps with processing adoption applications.

    Tori lives in Green Bay, WI with her husband, Dustin, her two daughters, Cece and Hattie, and her two adorable pit bull mixes, Rosie and Truce (both Tails of Hope alumni!) She works as a fundraiser at the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.

    Tori loves using the power of social media to connect rescue dogs with their perfect forever families. She is passionate about sharing their journeys, spreading awareness, and helping more dogs find loving homes. Tori hopes to inspire others to adopt, foster, and support rescue efforts.

  • Amber Robinson

    DIRECTOR OF VOLUNTEER OPERATIONS

    Amber has been a dedicated volunteer with Tails of Hope since its founding in 2019, proudly becoming the very first volunteer to join the mission. Over the years, she has worn many hats within the rescue, from serving on the board of directors to assisting with fundraising efforts, medical care, and transports, both local and long-distance. As a passionate foster, she has opened her home to more than 117 animals and has helped safely transport hundreds of rescue pets from Texas, Missouri, and Oklahoma to their new beginnings.

    Amber's love for animals extends beyond the rescue—she also enjoys spending time on her hobby farm filled with rescue animals: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, quail, pigs, and goats! When she's not volunteering, she loves exploring the outdoors through camping, hiking, and kayaking, embracing her creative side with crafts, a good book, cooking, and baking and traveling the world!
