  • As part of the fundraising team, your primary responsibility will be to work with the Fundraising Coordinator to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to support the financial needs of our organization. You will play a crucial role in securing the funding and resources necessary for the rescue, care, and well-being of animals in our care. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for animal welfare.

    Volunteering on the fundraising team offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of animals in need. You will contribute to the financial sustainability of the organization, ensuring the necessary resources are available to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for animals.

  • As a transport driver for Tails of Hope-WI, your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and reliable transportation for animals in need. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of animals by driving them to and from veterinary appointments, transferring animals to and from foster homes, picking up and delivering medication to foster caregivers, and more. This position requires a strong sense of compassion, responsibility, and excellent driving skills.

    Requirements:
    -Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
    -Excellent driving skills and familiarity with local traffic regulations
    -Strong organizational and time management abilities
    -Compassion and empathy towards animals
    -Ability to handle animals safely and with care
    -Clear and effective communication skills
    -Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying transport needs

    Working as a transport driver offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals.   • On the social media team, your primary responsibility will be to create compelling content and manage various social media platforms to promote the adoption of animals in our care. Your creativity and excellent communication skills will be crucial in capturing the attention and hearts of potential adopters. This role requires a passion for animal welfare and proficiency in social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.

  • Tori F. - 2021

    Tori F. has been an incredible part of the Tails of Hope-WI team since 2021, helping behind the scenes with social media, adoption processing, and more. She was inspired to get involved after adopting her dog Rosie from Tails of Hope-WI in 2020. For Tori, the most rewarding part is watching scared dogs blossom and find their forever homes. She believes every volunteer role matters and loves showing her kids the importance of giving back.

  • Katie M. - 2021

    Katie M. has been a dedicated volunteer with Tails of Hope-WI since 2021, helping with medical care, adoption applications, and transports—one of which led to her “foster fail,” Winnie, a deaf and partially blind pup she couldn’t let go. Though she didn’t grow up with pets, Katie always knew animals would be part of her future, and her passion shines through in all she does. One of her favorite memories is picking up Winnie from transport, knowing she was headed to a brighter future. Katie reminds others that even small efforts make a big difference in rescue work.

  • Jolene M. - 2024

    Jolene M. is a vital part of Tails of Hope-WI, handling behind-the-scenes tasks like processing applications and supporting events. Her love for animals began in childhood, and after adopting her dog Jaycee, she became an active volunteer. Jolene finds volunteering rewarding and believes it improves her life by helping dogs find happy, healthy homes. She’s inspired by the quick adoptions and joyful “Happy Tails” stories that show the impact of the rescue. Jolene encourages anyone thinking about volunteering to join—she calls Tails of Hope-WI the greatest group of caring people she’s ever met.
